What a Manx Grand Prix, never known one like it in my years of watching that’s for sure! Big credit to all the marshals that stood out in all weathers and long days to make it happen, deserve lots of credit for what they do.
We got the RC45 to the finish with the standard motor, unfortunately as we knew she wasn’t going to be quick enough to be fighting for results that I’d of liked after loosing two race engine (out of our control), 18mph down in the speed trap at sulby and think there was only 3 bikes slower than me through the trap! 😂
We knew that was going to be the case though and can’t thank Phil & the Ashcourt team enough for sourcing and supplying with a standard engine to get the race done, the race engines was the only bit neither of our teams had touched and that’s what let us down so I think we will bring the engine into the H & H Motorcycles workshop with Dave (not asked him yet😂) over winter and make a proper job of it and be well prepared for next year with more time on our hands!
My Dad and the whole H & H Motorcycles team for everything they’ve done for me from purchasing the bike and giving me immaculate bikes, everyone loved what we had done with the race prep on the 400 Honda and that’s exactly the same work that gets done at H&H on our customers bikes.
We will be back next year putting the big RC45 where we know she can be and getting the little 400 tuned to be competitive too.
Big thank you to all my sponsors for everything 👇🏻 Oulton Park BSB next up 😁
