First Bennetts British Superbike Championship Superstock 1000 from Donington Park over and out.
P25 for my first race in the championship in what seems to be the toughest year yet with the quality of riders, best in Britain. Was running in 20th for 5 laps and felt good and that I could go with that pack then I had arm pump set in. Not normally something I get so not sure if it’s just from the new surroundings holding on a bit tighter causing it but had no feeling in it 10 laps from the end so will get on and sort that. Was a second down on my quickest time but kept it amongst some riders that have been in it for a good while. Can’t complain for my first year on a 1000! More to come with more adjustments.
1.08.9 fastest lap time 3 seconds quicker than I went the last time I was there which was my first race on the 1000.

Now to plan what to do for the remainder of the year, ideally would like to do another BSB to keep improving.
